Methods of the EUNAAPA project
The EUNAAPA will use the following methodology for work packages 4, 5, and 6:
(1) Meetings (4 meetings in 24 months for all wp's combined) of all associated and collaborative partners to collect and share information on the topic of the workpackage
(2) Division of tasks among associated and collaborative partners to prepare relevant deliverables
(3) Specifying protocols for the evaluation of the collected information and evaluating the collected information independently
(4) Meeting of all associated and collaborative partners to discuss results of evaluation and to reach agreement on best practice
(5) Preparing deliverables under the lead of the work package leader
(6) Engaging in an exchange with policy makers, providers, professionals and
(representatives of) older people about work package topics, and evaluate this
information
(7) Continuing an exchange/consultancy with policy makers, providers and professionals on the topics of work packages
The participating associated and collaborative research institutes and national agencies function as experts for their respective nations. Overall, the participating associated research institutes come from the disciplines of Sport Science, Public Health, Sport Pedagogy, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Motor Science, Geriatric Medicine, Interdisciplinary Gerontology, and Physiotherapy. Every associated partner has budgeted a research assistant far approximately 12 hours per week for the duration of the project to assist in project work and the preparation of deliverabIes. Associated partners, who are taking the lead in work packages, have budgeted 3 additional weekly hours for a research assistant. Every associated partner will contribute the equal amount of hours from own resources (research assistants,senior investigators).
