Activities carried out by the EUNAAPA Network
The activities of the network can be diverse, as long as they are in line with the goal and objectives of the network. Since the start of the network several activities have been undertaken, including the EUNAAPA project, a review of assessment instruments, an inventory of successful programmes and promotion strategies and this website.
Below you will find a short description of activities carried out by the network. On the left side of this page you can also find concrete activities of the network.
Projects
The EUNAAPA network carries out projects which are in line with its goals and obejctives. The EUNAAPA project was carried out with support from the European Commission and helped the Network to start up and secure its existence. Collaborations from members of the Network can also start new projects, like the PASEO project.
Reviews and Inventories
One of the obejctives of the network is to disseminated evidence based promotion of physical activity. For this purpose, members of the network can collaborate in carrying out reviews and inventories into different topics like assessment instrument, succesful physical activity programmes for older adults etc. Currently, systematic reviews are being conducted in order to summarize the results of validity and reliability of existing instruments in relation to different groups of older people. Meetings
It is the intention of the network to hold a meeting with its members at least every two years. This can be during a project meeting or a conference which is visited by many of the members. The data for these occasions will be published on the website of the network in the agenda.
